TabTrade — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something that is a few months old, that coverage is broad.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that matters. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
