TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

TabTrade - The Short Version

TabTrade.com launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. These guys did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is something about priorities.

Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
