TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. These guys led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical sign-up bonus. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before funding.
